If I'm gonna buy a KTM, it's gonna be a 2-stroke. I get no jollies of a 4-stroke, regardless of make/model.

Well i have a 2stroke now. but its almost like if you want to race and be competitive you have to be riding a 4stroke. So much more power, and the power is always there. They are clearing jumps by flicking it in 3rd when im almost wide open in 3rd whihc is hard to get out of a corner. the new 4stokes have are supposed to be kick ass

It's not that the new 4-strokes aren't bad-arse.... It's that I never have liked 'em. Plus I don't race, and I don't buy new (for now), and I work on my own stuff, so 2-strokes are for me!

ya i dont care for them much either, but its get one or lose basically. the new KTMs have everything tilted to the side so you can adjust the valves ten times easier and its EFI. its goin to be extreme. everything is about 12 times more expensive for them, and so are they.

They didn't last long, 'cause they ended up having serious problems. The design was sick..... The MX'ers had ram air, EFI, and just a bad-ass lookin' setup, but I believe it was all the electronics involved that bit 'em in the ass. KTM's had a bit more experience in the world of MX, so hopefully their design will work out well.
